A Bond Beyond Glam: Diana’s Quinceañera Spotlight

This month’s Quinceañera Spotlight is one that touches my heart in a deeply personal way. It’s about a young woman who means the world to me—my niece, Diana Najera, affectionately known as “Di.”

Diana turned sixteen with elegance and heart, celebrating a beautiful milestone in a way that reflected her personality: driven, creative, and full of purpose. Her quinceañera was not only a celebration of her growth but a reminder of the bond we share—one built on love, even through life’s ups and downs.

Although pink isn’t typically Diana’s go-to color, for her quince it became the perfect shade to reflect her softness and strength. Her celebration was full of grace, joy, and beautiful energy—just like her.

On the big day, I had the honor of glamming up Diana—and that time with her is something I’ll treasure forever. We shared laughter, stories, and quiet moments that reminded me why I love what I do. Even though I couldn’t be there on the day of her quinceañera, I poured my heart into every brushstroke, hoping she’d feel my love in every detail.

And I know she did.

CHOOSING HER COURT

My coaches, who have always supported me like second parents, and my team, who are basically my best friends, brought so much energy and love to the celebration. Seeing them out of their jerseys and on the dance floor made everything feel even more special.” ~ Diana
